Taharrush Gamea, حرش جماعي – The Arab “rape game”

German police: It’s an Arab rape game called Taharrush, and now it has come to Europe.

German police fear repeats of the Cologne New Year’s Eve sexual assaults, saying extra attention will now be paid to fighting similar attacks. Police used the Arab term ‘taharrush gamea’ (collective harassment) to categorize the assaults – causing an angry reaction on Twitter.

The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), the main investigative authority in Germany, said in a response to Welt newspaper it knows sexual harassment of women in public is widespread in Arab countries, and that this is exactly what happened on New Year’s Eve in Cologne. Collective harassment is translated as “taharrush gamea” (حرش جماعي).

“Such crimes are committed by groups of young men… mostly when there are large gatherings of people, such as demonstrations. They range from sexual harassment to rape,” the BKA told Welt.

Earlier, German Justice Minister Heiko Maas urged authorities to investigate if the Cologne assaults were directly related to those in the other German cities of Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Bielefeld during New Year’s celebrations.

“If such a horde gathers in order to commit crimes, it appears in some form to be planned,” the minister told Bild on Sunday. “Nobody can tell me that this was not coordinated or prepared.”

The BKA said the assaults “ranging from sexual harassment to physical abuse” were unknown in Germany until recently.

A hashtag similar to “taharrush gamea” has already begun popping up in social media – being used for angry posts decrying either the massive influx of refugees or profane attitudes towards women, with some saying the Cologne assaults weren’t done by frustrated or drunken people, but by those who planned and elaborated it.”

In addition to the events in Cologne, police in Berlin, Hamburg, Bielefeld, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart have reported of similar incidents. In addition, police in Vienna and Salzburg in Austria and Zurich in Switzerland have raised the alarm about similar mass assaults against women by newly arrived Arab migrants. Also Sweden and Finland experienced the same on New Year’s Eve.

counter Surveillance Stalking Spaning

– The attacks range from sexual molestation to rape, says head of BKA, Holger Münch.

The “rape game” Taharrush is about a large group of Arab men surrounding their victim, usually a Western woman or a woman wearing Western-style clothing, and then the women are subjected to sexual abuse.

They surround the victim in circles. The men in the inner circle are the ones who physically abuse the woman, the next circle are the spectators, while the mission of the third circle is to distract and divert attention to what’s going on.

If there is enough men, the woman is dragged along by the mob, while the men take turns ripping her clothes off, grope her, and inserting fingers in her various body orifices.

Risk Assessment – Threat of ‘lone wolf’ terrorism growing, experts warn

April 30, 2013

Source: The daily telegraph

All eyes may be on Africa, but there are fears of a new, unpredictable threat in the west: the so-called “lone wolf”.

This isn’t about a particular country or cause, and some worry it could be a growing trend.

In 2011 Anders Behring Breivik shocked the world with a Norwegian terror rampage. He bombed government buildings in Oslo before going on a shooting spree at a camp held by the country’s Labour Party. The bombings killed eight people, and the shooting left 69 dead.

Breivik was later found to hold various far-right beliefs, including a perception of Islam and Marxism as “the enemy”.

There are fears this kind of attack could happen more often.

Workplace violence

In America, Nidal Malik Hasan is set to undergo court martial proceedings this year after being accused of carrying out a mass shooting at the Fort Hood military base in Texas. The shooting, which happened in 2009, left 13 dead and 30 injured.

The Fort Hood attack is regarded by some as terrorism because of Hasan’s alleged radicalisation, with reports he had been emailing Anwar al-Awlaki, a cleric and alleged al-Qaeda recruiter based in Yemen, and monitored for several years as a security threat. The US Department of Defence, however, has referred to it as an act of workplace violence.

Lone wolf attacks could be related to various forms of extremism – for example, Islamism or neo-Nazism – but the danger is that they are hard to track. People operating alone can be harder to follow than a large organisation.

In a recent book, Lone Wolf Terrorism: Understand the Growing Threat, security consultant Jeffrey D Simon argues that lone wolves can be more creative than terrorist groups.

Terrorist breeding ground

He also points out the importance of the internet as a potential breeding ground for terrorists – though this is also an opportunity for counter-terrorism agencies to monitor potential threats.

Britons present their own risks, with a potential rise in British-born terrorists who have trained abroad before returning to the UK.

Last year the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) think tank predicted that terrorists could put their training in countries including Somalia, Yemen or Nigeria to use on UK streets.

In a report, RUSI director-general Michael Clarke wrote: “The threat they pose, so far, is in the possibility that high numbers of such individuals, operating alone and unsupported, albeit in an amateur way, may nevertheless be lucky in a few attempts.

“They are harder to track and their behaviour much harder to predict.”

Ansar Al-Islam Leader Mullah Krekar jailed for five years in Norway

Source: BBC

Mullah Krekar, the Kurdish founder of radical Islamic group Ansar al-Islam, has been sentenced to five years in jail in Norway for making death threats against officials and others.

Mullah Krekar, 55, came to Norway as a refugee in 1991.

Krekar, who says he is no longer involved with Ansar al-Islam, said in court he would appeal the ruling.

Ansar al-Islam, which is based in northern Iraq, is regarded by the UN and US as a terrorist organisation.

Mullah Krekar was found guilty of threatening the life of Erna Solberg, an ex-minister who signed his expulsion order in 2003 because he was considered a threat to national security.

He was also found guilty of threatening three other Kurds living in Norway who had burnt pages of the Koran or insulted it in another way.

Mullah Krekar – born Najm Faraj Ahmad – has lived in suburban eastern Oslo with his family since 1991 when he was granted refugee status in Norway.

From this base, he founded Ansar al-Islam, which Washington blames for attacks on coalition forces in Iraq. In 2006, the UN added the cleric to a list of people believed to have links with al-Qaeda.

The Kurdish cleric says he stepped down as leader of Ansar al-Islam in 2002 and denies any links with al-Qaeda.

He remains in Norway despite the deportation order against him because of the security situation in Iraq.

UK / Pakistan – BHC calls for laws to stem child abductions

Source: The Nation

“Only two Muslim countries have ratified the Hague Convention”

ISLAMABAD (PPI) – British High Commissioner Adam Thomson has said that legislation is inevitable to curb the rising incidents of international child abduction.

He said this while addressing a seminar organized by SACH, an NGO, in collaboration with British High Commission here on Wednesday. Khalida Salimi, Executive Director SACH, Ahmer Bilal Sufi, President Research Society of International Law, Justice (Retd) Syed Manzoor Hussain Gillani and others were present on the occasion.

Addressing on the occasion, the British High Commissioner said that ratification of Hague Convention on the civil aspects of International Child Abduction Convention, 1980 will benefit both the countries, Pakistan and United Kingdom.

He said that over one million Pakistanis are living in UK, adding both the countries are tied in different strong bonds.

He further said that in the multi-culture marriages increase the incidents of abduction of children, adding during the last year 55 incidents of child abduction were reported between Pakistan and UK.

More cases are coming from Pakistan, he said, adding there is a very little hope that abducted children will return.

‘We talk about the mutual interests, UK and Pakistan are one family and law provides the bridges between the two countries”, he said.

He hoped Pakistan will become a global partner by ratifying Hague convention.

He was optimistic that this step would further cement ties between the both countries.

Earlier, Ahmer Bilal and Justice (Retd) Syed Manzoor Hussain Gilani addressing the seminar said that the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (October 25, 1980) was according to law of Pakistan and Islam.

They called for ratifying the said Convention to ensure children rights.

Ahmer Bilal also discussed the legal obstacles in the ratification of the Hague Convention.

Khalida Salimi shared the objectives of the constitution. Majid Bashir gave a presentation on The Hague Convention on the Civil aspects of international Child abduction. He said it meant to secure the prompt return of children wrongfully removed to or retained in any contracting state as well as to ensure that rights of custody and of access under the law of one contracting state are effectively respected in other contracting states.

He emphasized the need to ratify the convention in order to implement measures to enable parents currently separated from their children to maintain contact with them, ensure visitation rights and resolve their cases in any country.

Zulfiqar Naqvi and Zafarullah Khan Advocate discussed the barriers in handling any international parental child abduction case in the absence of the 1980 Hague Convention and urged the need for such a campaign to increase public awareness of the Convention by provision of information to the stakeholders. Ali Sultan, a speaker informed that only two Muslim countries have ratified the Hague Convention.

They killed Osama Bin Laden

Today U.S Navy Seal Team six killed Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden

By: Robert W. Johnson The military team that killed Osama Bin Laden is an elite special forces group unofficially called Seal Team 6. Officially, the team’s name is classified and not available to the public, technically there is no team 6. A Tier-One counter-terrorism force similar to the Army’s elusive Delta group, Team 6’s mission rarely make it to paper much less the newspaper. It shows how important the publicity about Bin Laden’s killing is to the U.S. that this morning, Team 6 is front pages news. The members of Team 6 are all “black” operatives. They exist outside military protocol, engage in operations that are at the highest level of classification and often outside the boundaries of international law. To maintain plausible deniability in case they are caught, records of black operations are rarely, if ever, kept. The development of SEAL Team 6 was in direct response to the 1980 attempt to rescue the American hostages held in Iran. The mission was a terrific failure that fell apart at many points and illustrated the need for a dedicated counter-terrorist team capable of operating with the utmost secrecy. The Team was labeled 6 at the time to confuse Soviet intelligence about the number of SEAL teams in operation at the time. There were only two others. Team 6 poached the top operatives from other SEAL units and trained them even more intensely from there. Even among proven SEAL’s the attrition rate for Team 6 is reported to be nearly half. There are no names available for current Team 6 members, but the CIA does recruit heavily from their numbers for their Special Operations Group, so it makes sense that they were chosen to work with the CIA on this mission. Team 6 is normally devoted to missions with maritime authority: ship rescues, oil rigs, naval bases or land bases accessible by water. There are no waterways near Bin Laden’s compound. When a former Navy SEAL was called for a comment about this article all he could say was: “You know I’d love to help you man, but I can’t say a word about Team 6. There is no Team 6.” Click here to see photos of people celebrating Bin Laden’s death > Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/the-team-that-killed-bin-laden-seal-team-6-2011-5#ixzz1LEfGRIA5 Published by: ABP World Group International Child Recovery Services Follow our updates on Twitter and Facebook

Bygger anti-islamsk nettverk
