Call it a windowless room with a Vu.

It’s model/DJ Angie Vu’s birthday, but she isn’t partying. Asia’s sexiest deejay turned 33 on Wednesday at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where she has spent nearly seven months fighting extradition to Paris and parental kidnapping charges.

Vu has endured a seismic shift in her life from globe-hopping deejay to Bureau of Prisons inmate 86359053, coping through prayer, exercise, and reading the Bible.

But her fellow inmates weren’t clued in about the birthday because the Vietnamese stunner just doesn’t think there’s anything to celebrate.

“I attended some birthday parties in here. …It was nicely celebrated from what possibly (could be) done with what we had in prison, but I still found it sad,” she told the Daily News’ John Marzulli, adding that she has partied “all over the world.”

“I get used to VIP tables, hanging out with beautiful models, drinking champagne from the bottle, dancing on the sofa. … So no prison birthday party, (it) will make me cry,” she said.

“I will just read books and do yoga today. I also play chess a lot these days,” according to Vu. “I became the chess champion in the unit.”

Vu is hoping that Federal Judge Frederic Block will grant a hearing on her petition which claims the family court in France improperly gave custody of her daughter to the biological father Richard Froger.

Vu was arrested last November at Kennedy Airport as she and her child were about to board a flight to China with one-way tickets.

Vu’s 9-year-old daughter Isabella is living with her father in Paris.

“There’s nothing to celebrate about when my only child is kidnapped by the father against all the laws and I got thrown in prison with the blame,” Vu said.

With any luck at all, someone will bring her a birthday cake with a file in it.

France files extradition request for Angie Vu, DJ jailed in Brooklyn after arrest for parental kidnapping

French authorities voulez Vu.

France has filed a formal request with the feds to extradite Asia’s sexiest DJ, Angie Vu, to Paris where she faces parental kidnaping charges, the Brooklyn U.S. Attorney’s office disclosed.

Vu was arrested Nov. 4 at Kennedy Airport as she was about to board a flight to China with her 12-year-old daughter who she failed to return to the child’s father.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Harris notified a Brooklyn judge Thursday that the official extradition request was made to the State Department within 60 days of Vu’s arrest. The extradition request now disqualifies her from being released on bail due to an international treaty covering extradition arrangements.

Vu, 32, who has posed for Playboy and appeared on America’s Got Talent, has been cooling her heels at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while the international legal process dragged along.

Magistrate Judge Viktor Pohorelsky said on Dec. 21 that he was “troubled by the slow pace” of the legal proceedings but refused to release Vu on bail even after the New York consul of the Republic of Vietnam went to bat for her.

“Because Vu poses a substantial risk of flight and faces a potentially substantial prison term, the government respectfully submits that Vu has not demonstrated by clear and convincing evidence that she would be granted bail in France,” Harris argued in court papers.

The Vietnamese-born Vu failed to return her daughter, Isabella, to the girl’s biological father on Aug. 29 after a summer vacation in the U.S., according to court papers. Vu informed the baby daddy, , that she would be taking the child to Vietnam for one year.

Froger, who has legal custody of the girl, obtained a warrant for Vu’s arrest — which she hoped would have been dropped because the child has since been reunited with her father.

The prosecutor said Vu could face up to three years in prison if convicted of the charges, but federal defender Mia Eisner-Grynberg has said that it is unlikely a French judge would sentence her to jail.

“I can be in the most luxurious places and enjoy the highlights, but I can also be left in a desert alone fighting to survive,” Vu told the Daily News in December. “Whatever comes my way, I will deal with it.”

An extradition hearing will be held next week in Brooklyn Federal Court.

She’s been called Asia’s sexiest DJ, but Angie Vu is currently starring in real-life caged heat.

A federal judge has ordered Vu to cool her heels in a New York City lockup while she faces extradition to France on parental abduction charges, the Daily News has learned.

“The Vietnamese-born Angie Vu Ha sought release on bail last week, arguing that she would never go on the lam because she’s such a big international star.”

Vu, 32, was arrested by U.S. marshals at Kennedy Airport on Wednesday as she attempted to board a flight to China with her 9-year-old daughter. She had bought a ticket on the flight that day after receiving a state court summons to give up custody of the youngster, according to papers filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.

The feds were armed with a warrant issued by a judge in Paris alleging she was a fugitive from charges of failing to return the child to her father, who has custody.

The Vietnamese-born vixen sought release on bail last week, arguing that she would never go on the lam because she’s such a big international star. She has been featured in Playboy magazine and the Internet film “Underwater Action,” when she is not spinning records at posh clubs in Asia.

But the judge agreed with Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Harris, who stated in court papers that “allowance of bail in any amount would not guarantee the fugitive’s presence in court and would invite the possibility of embarrassing the United States in the conduct of its foreign affairs.”

Vu, who has also modeled high-end clothing and started a modeling agency, has been globe-hopping since she broke an agreement with the child’s father, Richard Froger, a Frenchman. Froger had agreed to let their daughter stay with Vu for part of her summer vacation and return to France on Aug. 29.

But Froger received an email from Vu on Aug. 28 informing him that the child was in Vietnam with relatives and would be staying there for one year, court papers state.

Authorities confirmed the child flew to Taiwan on Aug. 27 with Vu and apparently onward to Hanoi.

She returned to the U.S. in October, and, the day before her arrest, posted photos on her Facebook page from a pumpkin farm in Long Island, where she was vamping in a Wonder Woman costume.

Federal defender Mia Eisner-Greenberg declined comment.

Sources said the little girl is back with her father now, so the next move is in the hands of the French court to decide whether the charges will be pursued or dropped.
